Get yourself riding your bike this summer, it might be sunny!

Want to ride your bike but too nervous?

Paul is qualified to train people of any age from absolute beginners to people who are just a bit nervous to take to the road.  He is a National Standards Instructor qualified to get you on the road.  He is also a Chemistry & Physics (so you can do your GCSE/AS/A2 Chem/Physics at the same time!) teacher at Amman Valley School in Ammanford & has an enhanced CRB check for that establishment which you are welcome to see (if you really want to).

The National Standard is a modernisation of the old Cycle Proficiency and has 3 levels.  Level 1 is basic control (off road) and ensuring the bike is safe.  Level 2 is on road and negotiating simple junctions and quiet road situations.  Level 3 is complicated and exciting road junctions.  If you want some more info have a look at http://www.ctc.org.uk/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabID=5213 (if you can't read Welsh find the Bikeability link just below the Level 1/2/3 links)

The area we are based in is definite Level 2 territory, with rides of about 6 miles between excellent stopping places, we can design routes to accomodate your abilities and levels of fitness.

The area where we are running our business from is stunning and quiet.  There are cars and tractors but also plenty of people cycling and sheep and cows and red kites and buzzards.  There are  plenty of pubs & places to eat and drinks and lots of varied accomodation.
